For the 1st time, mother and daughter will make their on screen presence in 'Life Goes On'. Directed by debutante Sangeeta Dutta, the film also stars Girish Karnad. The film is set in London with a family of 3 daughters and a father. They find it difficult to carry on with their life after their mother (Sharmila Tagore) passes away leaving behind the father (Girish Karnad) to their custody. Matters become worse when one of the daughters, Soha Ali Khan falls in love with a Muslim man. The film will be showcased at the 11th Mumbai Film Festival.
